About us

Yes. Our team is fully licensed and insured with both Workers’ Compensation and General Liability coverage, and all of our staff are trained well beyond the state’s minimum requirements. If you need formal documentation, we’re happy to provide a Certificate of Insurance upon request.

Yes, we do offer inspections, estimates, and services outside of standard hours when our schedule allows. These appointments are considered after-hours services and are subject to availability.

  • A Door Specialist consultation is available for $400.
  • If service work is needed, the minimum is $800, plus $200 per hour.

Typically, no – but ask! If we happen to have an opening in our schedule, we may be able to help. In those cases, we would provide the standard inspection and services with our $500 minimum service call.

The typical turnaround time is 4–6 weeks from start to finish, depending on the complexity and whether materials are in stock. We do accept urgent projects when our schedule allows, but we do not have a dedicated emergency team on call.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Initial Consultation & Estimate: We start with a scheduling call and an on-site visit to measure, discuss your project, and review options.
  • Proposal: Your Door Specialist sources the right door, requests quotes if needed, and prepares a detailed written proposal for you.
  • Decision Period: You’ll have time to review the proposal, consider alternatives, and compare options before moving forward.
  • Finalize & Deposit: Together with your Door Specialist, you’ll finalize details, make any adjustments, confirm selections, and then sign the contract and place your deposit.
  • Ordering & Scheduling: Your Door Specialist orders all necessary materials and sets the project schedule. Special-order doors usually take several weeks to arrive.
  • Installation & Walkthrough: Once everything is in, our team installs your new door. Your Door Specialist will walk through the finished project to make sure every detail is right.

Finishing Touches & Warranty: We handle paint, hardware, and punch-out items, then provide you with your warranties — including our 10-year labor warranty, manufacturer warranties, and extended coverage options.

The timeline depends on the season, the scope of work, and whether materials are standard or special order.

  • Small or simple projects usually take 3–4 weeks from start to finish.
  • Larger or special-order projects typically take 4–8 weeks, and in some cases even longer.

Labor-only projects or jobs using stock materials can often be completed in 2–4 weeks.

Yes, we offer repair services.

  • Service Minimum: All repair appointments have a $500 minimum, which covers a visit from our in-house Carpenter with a fully stocked work van and up to 3 hours of labor.
  • Additional Time: If the repair takes longer than 3 hours, time is billed at $125/hour, plus the cost of any materials (including trips to the hardware store if needed).
  • Deposit & Scheduling: A $250 deposit is required at the time of scheduling. This deposit is non-refundable and goes toward your service. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance; otherwise, the deposit is forfeited.
  • If Repair Isn’t Feasible: Sometimes a repair isn’t possible, or it wouldn’t be a long-term solution. In that case, the $250 deposit still applies, but our Lead Carpenter will either provide you with an estimate for a proper replacement or arrange for one of our Door Specialists to come out and reassess the project. Depending on the size of the replacement project, the deposit may or may not be credited toward the new work.

Warranty: Most repairs are not warrantied, unless specifically noted. When warranties are available (typically 6–36 months), we’ll let you know in advance.

  • Team: $500 minimum, which covers the trip plus up to 3 hours onsite. After that, it’s $125 per hour.

Yes, we offer several flexible financing plans depending on your needs and credit.

The application process is simple and only requires a short form. It’s a soft credit pull, so it won’t show up on your credit report. If approved, the debt also won’t appear on your report unless the account becomes delinquent.

Your Door Specialist will walk you through the available options and help you choose the plan that works best for you.

Yes, we can provide a ballpark estimate from photos and measurements, but it’s important to understand that doors are complicated. Phone or photo estimates are only meant to give you a general idea of cost — not a final price.

To help us get as close as possible, please take photos of the door from the inside and outside, both close up and from farther away. Include clear shots of any specific issues. You can send these to scheduling@justdoors.io or text them to 678-404-0630. From there, we’ll schedule a phone consultation, which usually gets us within about 90% accuracy.

Please note: In-person estimates are always best, since they allow us to confirm important details that can significantly affect the final price. If your goal is to compare multiple companies and find the lowest possible bid, we may not be the right fit. Our focus is on providing quality, long-lasting solutions rather than being the cheapest option.

Project Details

Yes, in some cases, we can replace just the swinging part of the door (called the slab) without replacing the whole frame, but there are some important limitations:

For Exterior Doors:

  • A slab-only replacement almost always requires one of our Door Specialists to inspect your frame first.
  • Fiberglass doors generally cannot be modified; trimming or cutting them voids the warranty.
  • Wood doors are more flexible. They can often be customized onsite to fit slightly out-of-square frames and still turn out beautifully.

For Interior Doors:

  • Slab replacements are possible, but require a phone consultation with our Door Specialist first. The homeowner will provide the new door and if the slab doesn’t fit the frame, you’ll still be responsible for the trip charge and any time spent attempting the install.
  • Our Lead Carpenter can replace basic interior slabs starting at $500 minimum. If the door needs extra adjustments, the work is billed hourly.

Why It’s Tricky:
Even a “standard” size isn’t always standard. A “30-inch” door might measure 29.75″, and an “80-inch” door could be anywhere from 79–80″. If the sizing isn’t exact, the door won’t seal or operate correctly. Our Door Specialists and Carpenters can usually make it work; it just takes time and costs a bit more.

Yes, we can repair sliding glass doors, but these projects can be very difficult and sometimes impossible to complete. Many of the parts are discontinued or unidentifiable, which means the results aren’t always guaranteed.

The minimum cost is $1,500. This covers sending out two carpenters to remove the door from the tracks, inspect and diagnose the issue, and then return with the correct replacement parts (most often the rollers/wheels) to reinstall the door. A $500 crew trip fee is included in this cost, and it is non-refundable. The deposit for this service is due at the time of scheduling.

Important to know: Even after inspection and a search for replacement parts, we may not be able to find what’s needed. Because of these limitations, hiring a handyman may be a better option for these repairs.

Yes, we can replace the glass in many doors. We also offer options that can completely transform the look of your door.

How it works: We start with a remote consultation to review your door and your goals. To save you the cost of an inspection visit, we’ll guide you through taking the measurements yourself. From there, our carpenter will complete the installation. Most projects range from $750–$1800 for labor, plus $500 and up for materials, depending on the glass style you choose.

If your door glass is simply broken and you need a quick fix, a glass specialist may be the faster solution. We recommend:

If they are not able to replace the glass, a full door replacement may be necessary. In that case, we’ll assign a Door Specialist to come measure and provide you with options ($1000 labor minimum + materials applies).

If it’s made, we can usually get it. We work with both major national brands and trusted local manufacturers, which allows us to provide almost any type of door you need.

There are some limitations with certain fiberglass and simple steel doors, as some models may be discontinued. When that’s the case, we’ll guide you toward the best alternatives.

If you’re interested in a custom wood door or millwork, we have excellent resources and can provide a wide variety of styles and wood species.

For more details, including specific brands we use, see our Services pages.

Yes, we handle all types of painting and finishing for doors. That includes painting, staining, clear finishing, and even sanding and refinishing existing doors. The project process varies depending on the type of door, the condition of the surface, and the desired finish. In many cases, we can provide pricing just from photos of the door and the area around it, both inside and outside.

Yes, we replace and install hardware for both residential and commercial doors. If you only need the hardware replaced or repaired, our labor minimum is $500, which covers the trip and up to three hours of work. If the job takes longer, time is billed at $125 per hour.

If our carpenter needs to pick up the hardware for you, that time – including drive time – is billed at $125 per hour, but only if you approve it before we begin.
