Fiberglass is great for any application, the best value in our opinion.
Vinyl is great as a product, but not all doors are created the same. In general you get the best warranty per dollar spent, but they don’t work as hinged / french doors. A high quality vinyl door can last 50+ years with basic maintenance.
Metal Clad Wood – is beautiful, matches your interior wood finishes, and their manufacturer’s boast that they are the most durable. The only con is that they cost more.
Do you repair sliding glass doors?
Yes. Repairs start at $1,500, including inspection and potential part replacement. Results aren’t always guaranteed.
How much does a new patio door cost?
Most patio or sliding glass doors cost $3,000-$6,000+ depending on size and style.
Can you replace just the glass in my patio door?
Yes. Glass replacement typically costs $400-$800 for labor, plus the cost of glass materials. If the right glass isn’t available, a full door replacement may be required.
